Added

  • Drawing on the display. See The display.
    • Brick::show_text clears the LCD and prints text: 8 lines of 16 characters in a built-in 5×7 pixel font.
    • Brick::show_image clears the LCD and shows an image.
    • Brick::set_screen writes a whole Screen to the LCD, and Brick::clear_screen blanks it.
    • Screen can now be edited: Screen::blank, Screen::from_text, set_pixel, clear, draw_text and draw_image.
    • New display::Image type, a black and white picture of any size, built from a PBM file (Image::from_pbm, P1 and P4), 8-bit grayscale pixels (Image::from_luma, or Image::from_luma_dithered for photos) or a function (Image::from_fn).
    • New constants CHAR_WIDTH, CHAR_HEIGHT, TEXT_COLUMNS and TEXT_LINES describe the text grid.
  • A display example that draws text and an image (or a PBM file given on the command line).
